SURRENDER
SURRENDER: The Movement is a faith-based community built on a simple, disarming idea: asking for help takes courage. Releasing fear, perfectionism, and control clears the way for the next right step.

What surrender actually means
Surrender, in this movement, is a decision, made on purpose. It's the intentional release of fear, perfectionism, jealousy, comparison, and the need for control, replaced by trust and a commitment to take the next right step. For anyone taught to hold everything together, that release takes real strength.
“Surrendering is one of the most powerful acts of humility and courage.”

SURRENDER speaks across generations — to women exhausted by the pressure to control their image, their outcomes, their story, and to anyone ready to trade that grip for peace, presence, and faith. Whether you arrive at surrender the hard way, or choose it on purpose, The Movement holds that it's a universal experience — one that connects people across every walk of life.

How it started
The idea traces back to a moment Carroll didn't choose — sitting on the floor in front of her fireplace in the middle of a personal crisis, realizing the one common denominator in every hard season was her. What followed was a prayer for accountability. For years, she thought accountability was the whole story — until the work revealed what actually came first, every time: surrender. Asking for help, before anything else.
“It is asking for help, just enough to take one step forward.”
